Academic Enrichment:
• U of P Museum on the Go – Grades 4,5,6: Ancient Egypt program
• Author Visit – Liz Kessler visited with Grades 4 and 5
• Butterfly kits for K; chick hatching kids for 1st grade
Instrumental Music Assemblies:
• Dolce Suono for K,1,2 plus a master class for Mr. Dubin’s students
• Musicopia for grades 3-8
Dance:
• Ballet lesson from Philadelphia Dance Academy for K
• Hip Hop lesson from Koresh School of Dance for 1st grade
• Demonstration and dance class from Ballet X for grades 2-3
• Demonstration and performance by Pennsylvania Ballet II for K–5
• Demonstration and performance by Rock School of Ballet for 6-8
Theater:
• Three performances by Walnut Street Theater Company – all grades
• Spiral Q Puppet Theater demonstration for 7th grade
Art:
• Moore College of Art after school program for grades 4-6 creating

Fun Community-Building Events for Greenfield families:
Book fair, 2 Movie Nights, Greenfield on Ice Skate night, June Field Days, Earth Day, Bingo Night, Spring Fair, Career Day, Cookie Mondays, First Friday Coffees, MLK Day of Service.
Silent Auction and Social:
To benefit Greening Greenfield we raised $10,000 on a fun night out for Greenfield parents.
New H&S Website:
Our new and improved website updates on events and provides other resources for Greenfield parents (e.g. providing school supply lists, contact information etc).
Large Scale Accomplishments:
Over the years, the Greenfield H&S Association has successfully raised funds to complete a number of projects.
• 1998:
The PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT on the east side of the play yard and in the Kindergarten yard was purchased.
• 2002-2003:
Renovation of the SCHOOL LIBRARY (purchase of new furniture, bookshelves etc).
• 2005:
Renovation of the CAFETERIA (purchase of new floors and renovations)
• 2008:
Addition of a CLIMBER to the schoolyard’s playground equipment.
• 2008-2009:
Purchase and installation of NEW BASKETBALL HOOP.
• 2009-2010:
Completion of phases 1 and 2 of the GREENING OF GREENFIELD project (a five-phase initiative that will transform the school’s building and grounds, from impermeable urban heat island to an environmentally friendly building with self-sustaining green space).
• 2010-2011: Renovation of the GREENFIELD AUDITORIUM
