Greenfield Home & School Auction & Social

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, May 4, 2011, when Greenfield Home & School Association will hold its fourth annual Auction & Social. The funds raised from this year’s event will go towards the much needed renovation of Greenfield’s auditorium and help us reach our goal of $50,000.
There are still many ways that you can help make this year our most successful event yet:
- Donate an item or service for the Auction – consider donating original artwork or professional services like accounting, personal training, house cleaning, pet sitting, computer services, chiropractic evaluation, etc.
- Solicit an item or service donation for the Auction – ask family, friends, or neighbors who may own a business, or a store, restaurant, salon, or spa where you are a patron, or a place where your children take classes
- Solicit or place an Advertisement for the Auction program book – include a photo or message for your child. A business card size ad only costs $25, and allows local businesses to show their support of Greenfield! Look for a box in the lobby to drop in your form.
- Attend the auction and bring a friend!
In addition to auction items, we are very excited that this year there will be a number of student-made art projects for the Live Auction. This was made possible by the amazing efforts of many parents.
We are very pleased to announce that the venue for our 2011 fundraiser will again be Dane Décor thanks to the generosity of Drew and Jill Hamilton. This year we have a variety of delicious food selections being provided by Jake’s Sandwich Board, owned by parent Gary Dorfman, Bibou, owned by parents Pierre and Charlotte Calmels, and Bellini Grill, owned by parents Jimmy and Julia Daku. In addition Bistro La Minette, Percy Street BBQ and Zahav will also supply food for the evening We are also very pleased to have our beverages provided by Moore Brothers Wine Company and Victory Brewing Company. We will end the evening with delicious desserts and coffee compliments of Fond, Nook Bakery, Margaret Ma Levy (Greenfield alumni parent); and Peregrine Coffee, hand-roasted by Greenfield parent Kevin Lawrence. Music for the evening will be performed by Greenfield’s new music teacher, Rachel Repanshek and her band.
